SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
SECTION 24-256 - HAWAII BELT ROAD (HIGHWAY 11) - 30 MPH
SPEED LIMIT
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1. Speed Limits,
Section 24-256, Schedule 4. 30 mile per hour limit, Paragraph (f) Kona be amended by
revising existing item:
(3) Marnalahea Highwa HAWAII BELT ROAD (HIGHWAY 11), from a point five
thousand one hundred feet SOUTH OF in the southedy diFen+ien from the
terminus of the State Highway in Honalo to A POINT TWO HUNDRED THIRTY-
FIVE FEET NORTH OF HAUKAPILA STREET the beginning of the c+�+e
Highway On Captain Cook.
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1. Speed Limits,
Section 24-256, Schedule 4. 30 mile per hour limit, Paragraph (f) Kona be amended by
adding new item and renumbering as required:
( ) HAWAII BELT ROAD (HIGHWAY 11), FROM A POINT ONE THOUSAND FEET
SOUTH OF HALE KEEKEE PLACE TO THE BEGINNING OF THE STATE
HIGHWAY IN CAPTAIN COOK.

and increase safety thorough a portion of Kealakekua.
