SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
SECTION 24-255 - HAWAII BELT ROAD (HIGHWAY 11) - 25 MPH
SPEED LIMIT
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1. Speed Limits,
Section 24-255, Schedule 3. 25 mile per hour limit, Paragraph (f) Kona be amended by
revising existing item:
(8) MarnalaheaHighwa HAWAII BELT ROAD (HIGHWAY 11), from the terminus
of the State Highway in Honalo to a point five thousand one hundred feet in the
southerly direction.
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1. Speed Limits,
Section 24-255, Schedule 3. 25 mile per hour limit, Paragraph (f) Kona be amended by
adding new item and renumbering as required:
( ) HAWAII BELT ROAD (HIGHWAY 11), FROM A POINT TWO HUNDRED
THIRTY-FIVE FEET NORTH OF HAUKAPILA STREET TO A POINT ONE
THOUSAND FEET SOUTH OF HALE KEEKEE PLACE,

and increase safety thorough a portion of Kealakekua.
