HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 437 Draft 01 2012-2014 COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII er,TF o►.N';�� RESOLUTION NO. 437 14 A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE A NEW VAN. WHEREAS, the Office of the County Clerk and Hawaii County Council is in need of a new van for staff use; and WHEREAS, our office must impose on other departments by frequently requesting the use of vehicles from their departments; and WHEREAS, the existing Dodge van is over 11 years old, has frequent visits to the repair shop, and needs to be replaced; and WHEREAS, the estimated total cost for a suitable replacement van is approximately $24,000; and WHEREAS, the funds will come from account number 010.101.5101.01.011 (Clerk- Council SVC S&W, Regular S&W), which is available due to the lower than anticipated expenses; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: FUND: GENERAL AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION: $24,000 OUT AND FROM: 010.101.5101.01 Clerk-Council Svc S&W $24,000 011 Regular S&W CREDITED TO: 010.101.5101.06 Clerk-Council SVC Equip $24,000 449 Motor Vehicle (New Vehicle) BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this resolution to the Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
