JMtV CI of <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ♦art Of <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 438 14 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF <br /> EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE HAWAII FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, the State of Hawai'i Department of Defense, State Civil Defense is <br /> donating Equipment to the Hawaii Fire Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, this equipment was identified during the State Civil Defense's <br /> annual property inventory as being transferrable to the County of Hawaii, at no cost to <br /> the County; and <br /> WHEREAS, this equipment consists of the following: <br /> Quantity Description Original Cost <br /> 1 Cutter P-16 Raptor Plus Kit 06149 $ 15,842.73 <br /> 1 Generator—6.5 HP 3000W Max EZGF — 1147626 1,934.99 <br /> 1 Saw Chain Stihl 20" Bar Rescu 165645088 1,131.17 <br /> 1 Saw Chain 16" Straight Arm SN:055000095 1,124.99 <br /> 1 Saw Unifire Cut Off 05200073 1,150.45 <br /> 1 Strecher System, Sked 385.13 <br /> 1 Strecher System, Sked 385.13 <br /> 1 Current Detector TAC Stick C17487 258.31 <br /> 1 Drill Rotary Hammer Kit 338C606270109 931.64 <br /> 1 Hydraulic Jack 6 Ton 416.64 <br /> 1 Hydraulic Jack 6 Ton 416.64 <br /> 1 Saw 18V Sawzall Cmplt Kit 971 D606170087 552.67 <br /> TOTAL: $ 24,530.49 <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides <br /> that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donations of money, <br /> securities or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate, and <br /> Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162 (a) of the Hawaii County Code states that any gifts <br /> or donations of money, securities, or personal property which fall within the <br /> capitalization procedures of the Department of Finance, may be accepted by resolution <br /> approved by the Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii Fire Department recommends the acceptance of this <br /> donation; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, and Chapter <br /> 2, Article 30, Section 2-162(a) of the Hawaii County Code, the Council of the County of <br /> Hawaii accepts this donation. <br />
