The generator, while being maintained and operated by the County, will remain the property of the DLNR's Hunter Education Program. As a condition to receive this generator, the County is required to enter into an agreement with the DLNR, which specifies certain terms relating to the maintenance and operation of the Range, as well as terms of the maintenance and operation of the generator. Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State of Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources in order to receive the generator specified above. The Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting that this resolution be waived from the Finance Committee, and be placed on the June 4, 2014 Council Agenda in order to expedite this transaction.
