SUBJECT: Certificate Presentation to Two Eagle Scouts —
Kawaiola Kuamoo Santa Maria and Inoke Mills
at the June 4, 2014 Council Meeting in Hilo
This is to inform you that I plan to present two certificates at the next Council
meeting scheduled in Hilo on June 4, 2014. I will be recognizing Kawaiola
Kuamoo Santa Maria and Inoke Mills for their achievement in earning the Boy
Scouts of America's highest rank of Eagle Scout. I anticipate that it will take
approximately 25 minutes for both presentations.

of all Scouts in the United States.
You have been successful in your scouting career in attaining all necessary merit badges and
goals you have set for yourself. In addition to excelling in scouting, you are also involved
in 4 -H and Civil Air Patrol.
Your Eagle Scout Service Project involved the filling of potholes on the Mauna Loa Access Road. You
worked with the Department of Land and Natural Resources, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric
Association and the Mauna Loa Observatory Employee Association to improve safety on the road.
Your diligence, determination and leadership have allowed you to earn this prestigious rank.
It is for all these qualities which you possess that we honor you,
Kawaiola Kuamoo Santa Maria, son of Mitchell and Kris Santa Maria, on this great achievement.
