• <br /> JNtV�os N <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. 222 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 14 62 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, SECTION 24-280, <br /> SCHEDULE 28 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), <br /> RELATING TO NO PARKING AT ANYTIME. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. This amendment is being proposed based on public concern that cars <br /> parked on the north side of Paniolo Place are within the travel way. Paniolo Place is a County road <br /> with a fifty foot right-of-way. The subject pavement width is approximately thirty-three feet wide <br /> with the northern twenty feet for vehicular travel and the remaining thirteen feet serving as a <br /> shoulder. This amendment would restrict parking on the north side of Paniolo Place while <br /> continuing to allow parking on the south side of same. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5. Section 24-280. Schedule 28. No <br /> parking at anytime, paragraph (e) Kohala be amended by adding new item and renumbering as <br /> required: <br /> ( ) PANIOLO PLACE, NORTH SIDE. <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br /> underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and <br /> underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof <br /> to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br />
