HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 2014-071 2012-2014 `P,.,1 SF N1JM,yj COUNTY OF HAWAII �` STATE OF HAWAII ...,<4;.4,. .,;,....- F N^, BILL NO. 230 ORDINANCE NO. 14 71 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 08-106 OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, AS HERETOFORE AMENDED PERTAINING TO THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING ALL OR A PORTION OF THE COSTS OF VARIOUS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE COUNTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Amendments. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 08-106, as amended by Ordinance Nos 09-92, 09-92A , 09-154, 10-56 and 13-58 is hereby further amended to read as follows: "SECTION 2. Authorization of Bonds. There are hereby authorized for issuance and sale, in one or more series, Bonds of the County, in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $114,588,700, for the purpose of funding all or a portion of the costs (including costs of issuance of the Bonds) of the public improvement projects authorized and set forth in [Exhibit A, Draft 5] Exhibit A, Draft 6." SECTION 2. Confirmation of Existing Ordinance. Except as expressly amended hereby, the Ordinance is hereby confirmed and shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
