Bill 182: AMENDS CHAPTER 23, ARTICLE 4, DIVISION 1, SECTION 23-61 OF THE
HAWAI‘I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING
TO SITE VISITS FOR APPLICATIONS FOR SUBDIVISIONS
Prior to approving or disapproving a preliminary plat, the Planning Director or the
Director’s authorized representative shall conduct a site visit of the designated
property to verify that the information within the preliminary plat and its
supplemental materials is accurate and complete, and also to determine if there are
any conditions that warrant revisions to the preliminary plat. Revisions would be
made by the subdivider, after consulting with the Planning Director.
