oJt tV.OS N7 . <br /> •COUNTY OF HAWAII "'1" STATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. 263 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, SECTION 24-279 <br /> OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO <br /> PARKING. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. This amendment is being proposed based on a concern by a resident on <br /> Ahikawa Street that people are parking on the roadway and obstructing the path for oncoming <br /> motorists. This amendment will keep parked cars off the roadway, increase traffic safety and will <br /> not significantly reduce parking because there are existing shoulders with adequate width for <br /> parking. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5. Parking, Section 24-279, Schedule 27. <br /> Parking on pavement prohibited at all times. Paragraph (f) Kona, be amended by adding new item <br /> and renumbering as required: <br /> () AHIKAWA STREET. <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. <br /> In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and underscoring need not be <br /> included. <br /> SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to <br /> any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications <br /> of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, <br />
