'MtY_OS N <br /> - ... <br /> \,14 <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. 264 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 6, SECTION 24-288 <br /> OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO <br /> FREIGHT LOADING ZONE. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. This amendment is being proposed based on a request from the County of <br /> Hawai`i Department of Public Works Building Division to install a loading zone to assist with the <br /> loading and unloading activities by the nearby businesses. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 6, Section 24-288. Schedule 36. Freight <br /> loading zones, Paragraph (c) South Hilo be amended, revising existing item: <br /> (2) Furneaux Lane, southeast makai of Keawe Street, (Puna side, from a point sixty-three <br /> twenty-five feet northeast of Keawe Street and extending thirty-two feet in the <br /> northeasterly direction , twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. <br /> In printing this ordinance, the brackets,bracketed and stricken material and underscoring need not be <br /> included. <br /> SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to <br /> any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications <br /> of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, <br /> the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
