TITLE: An Ordinance amending Section 25-8-33 (City of Hilo
Zone Map), Article 8, Chapter 25 (Zoning Code) of the
Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition), by changing
the district classification from agricultural—3 acres (A-3a)
to residential agricultural— 1 acre (RA-1a) at Waiakea,
South Hilo, Hawai`i, covered by tax map key: 2-4-038:012
EXPLANATION: The applicant's request is to create a two-lot residential-
agricultural subdivision with one 2.23-acre lot and one 1-
acre lot to be distributed amongst family members. The
Windward Planning Commission forwarded a favorable
recommendation.
AMENDMENTS: Comm. No. Introducer Approved/Disapproved
(none)
RECOMMENDATION: Passage of Bill No. 261 on first reading.
