Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill No. 259,
reports as follows:
Bill No. 259, transmitted by Public Works Director Warren H. W. Lee, via Communication No. 902
dated May 15, 2014, amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 6, Section 24-288, Schedule 36, Freight
Loading Zones, Paragraph (c), South Hilo of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as
amended), relating to Freight Loading Zones.
The purpose of the amendment is to relocate loading zone on the mauka side of Keawe Street.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and intent of
Bill No. 259, and recommends its passage on first reading.
