In support of Resolution 452-14
After so many years of avoiding our solid waste problem, I am gratified that the County is moving
forward.
I do, however, fail to see why it must be done on such a short timeline.
Our island soil consists largely of vegetation that has accumulated over ages. If possible we need to
continue to build on that foundation. I love this "Rock", but it could use some more soil.
Please consider that while we need to move forward, the right decision requires a little more time and
a lot more discussion and consideration by the Council and the public.
