Aloha, committee chair and members:
I'm writing to ask that you please support Resolution 452 which asks the Mayor to withdraw his waste to
energy proposal and instead asks his administration to create and support a proposal to increase
compostables. Strategies that maximize environmental benefits and promote community based green jobs are
what our Hawai'I Island communities need for a healthy, environmentally and socially balanced future.
