COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 468 14
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE FAMILY VIOLENCE INTERAGENCY
COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney's Family Violence Interagency
Committee brings together nonprofit aid organizations, government, and concerned members of
the public and works to find positive solutions to address the epidemic of family violence in
Hawai`i County; and
WHEREAS, funds are needed for educational and informational projects and events to
raise awareness about family violence, including child abuse and neglect; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to
the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney for the Family Violence Interagency Committee; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $5,000
CREDITED TO:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Prosecuting Attorney and Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is
hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
