No. 886/Resolution No. 430-14 <br /> DATE: July 1, 2014 <br /> LOCATION: Council Chambers, Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TITLE: A Resolution Urging the Board of Water Supply to Take Any and All <br /> Actions Necessary to Acquire Land and Develop a New Water Well, <br /> Reservoir, Supporting Facilities, and a New Transmission Main in <br /> Captain Cook, South Kona, Hawai`i. <br /> EXPLANATION: From Council Member Brenda Ford, this Resolution urges the Board <br /> of Water Supply to: <br /> 1. Authorize the placement of a new Captain Cook well, <br /> reservoir, support buildings, and water main in its five-year <br /> plan. <br /> 2. Authorize the Department of Water Supply to complete an <br /> application to the Innovative Readiness Training Program to <br /> engineer and construct the well to Department of Water Supply <br /> standards. <br /> 3. Authorize the acquisition of the land (TMK: 8-2-001:113) that <br /> shall be placed in the ownership of the Board of Water Supply <br /> before any application is filed with the Innovative Readiness <br /> Training Program. <br /> AMENDMENTS: Comm.
