Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill No. 264,
reports as follows:
Bill No. 264, transmitted by Public Works Director Warren H. W. Lee, via Communication No. 922
dated June 06, 2014, amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 6, Section 24-288 of the Hawai`i County
Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended) by amending an existing provision for Furneaux Lane; Schedule
36 (Freight loading zones), Subsection (c), South Hilo.
This amendment is being proposed based on a request from the Building Division to install a loading
zone to assist with loading and unloading activities by the nearby businesses.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and intent of
Bill No. 264 and recommends its passage on first reading.
