SUBJECT: Proposed Amendments to Resolution No. 457-14, Draft 2
Please find below amendments to Resolution No. 457-14, Draft 2. The amendments are illustrated in
Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution No. 457-14, Draft 2 (material to be deleted
is bracketed and stricken through; material to be added is underscored). The proposed amendments
read as follows:
1. Adds "and" to the end of the 4th Whereas clause to read as follows:
"WHEREAS, Dale Ann Andrade and Merle Chun agree to grant an easement, on a
portion of Lot 175 at no cost to the County of Hawai`i, Easement S-2, containing an area of
1,008 square feet, more or less, as described in Exhibit A and delineated on Exhibit B
attached hereto, that authorizes, allows and permits the County of Hawai`i to construct,
utilize and maintain the installed sewer line on their property, for public purpose; and"
2. Deletes name and adds two names to the enacting clause to read as follows:
"BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII,that
in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawai`i County Charter, the County of
Hawai`i accepts the grant of easement delineated on Exhibit B attached hereto, from
[Mildred Andrade] Dale Ann Andrade and Merle Chun."
