Bill to Amend CIP Ordinance No. 98 -50
For your favorable consideration, I am forwarding a bill, which amends the Capital
Improvement Project Ordinance No. 98 -50 by adding $1,850,000 to complete Palani
Road Safety Improvements.
A copy of the Project Data/Financial Impact Statement (FIS) is attached.

RE: Attached Bill for an Ordinance
Pursuant to Section 1(e) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of
Hawaii, this written approval is submitted in regard to Bill No. 2 4 , which amends
Ordinance No. 98 -50 relating to Public Improvements and Financing Thereof for Palani Road
Safety Improvements, waiving said referral from the Committee on Finance in order that
appropriate action can be taken by the Council.
In reviewing the contents of the referral, it is deemed advisable that such a waiver be granted.
