Dear Ms. Erway:
Thank you for your letter regarding the condemnation and
purchase of the SoBay property at Wai'aha Bay for a County
beach park.
Your suggestion has merit, and if the Council authorizes the
condemnation and the expenditure of funds for that purpose, the
administration can pursue this idea.
We have been exploring a land exchange, but have not been
successful to date. Again, thank you for your ideas which we
will seriously consider.
