Aloha Council Chairman Arakaki ,
I am writing in regards to the Alii Highway, an ad in this Sundays Newspaper
prompted this letter. As a professional driver here on the Big Island I am very interested
in any solutions to the growing traffic problems here in Kona.
I would appreciate any information you can provide at this time as to the options
the Council members are considering. I would also like to know if and when any further
Community meetings are planned to further explain what is being proposed and how it
will affect all of us here in Kona.
1 would also like to know if this information is available on the Internet, or if it
ever will be. I strongly believe it would be easier and faster to judge the publics feelings
and opinions on the Net. Something I am sure you have considered. Being able to
propose projects and present the necessary information electronically to everyone that is
on line, would make it easier for those people to make decisions and voice there
opinions.
