SUBJECT: Certificate of Recognition Presentation for Council Meeting
I am requesting your approval to present a certificate on August 6, 2014, during the Council
meeting. The recipient will be recognized for his achievement, devotion and generosity to the
community.
Chance Salva is being recognized for being one of the top picks for the Hawai`i High School
Athletic Association Boys Volleyball All-Tournament Division II Team. He is the only player
that was chosen from an outer island school to be on the All-Tournament Division II team. He is
a member of the Honoka`a High School Boys Volleyball Team which placed 3rd in the state.
The recipient will be in attendance to accept his certificate.
We expect to take approximately five (5)minutes at the Council Meeting.
