RESOLUTION NO. 475 14
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR A NEW BUS ROUTE.
WHEREAS, the Mass Transit Agency is establishing a new bus route effective August 22,
2014, on Fridays and Saturdays with stops at the University of Hawai`i at Hilo, Hawai`i Community
College, Prince Kuhio Plaza, and Downtown Hilo; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the
Mass Transit Agency for operating expenses in order to provide increased transportation for students
and members of the public during the academic year; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $5,000
CREDITED TO:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this resolution
to the Mass Transit Administrator and Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is hereby
authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
