Re: Communication' 3929/Resolution 498-92
Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution 498-92 ,
reports as follows:
Resolution 498-92 provides for the formal acceptance of a Hearne
Brothers Map of the Big Island from Basically Books.
Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides
for the acceptance of gifts or donations. The retail value of the
donated maps is two hundred fifteen dollars and fifty cents.
Your Committee appreciates the generosity by Basically Books in
donating the map.
Your Committee concurs with the intent and purpose of
Resolution 498-92 and recommends Council ' s approval .
