Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 635 , reports as
follows :
Bill 635 proposes to amend Ordinance 92-73 , the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1992-93 , by increasing the following General Fund revenue
accounts :

3304 .37 State Grants - First Lady Outstanding $700 . 00
Volunteer
and appropriating $930 . 00 to the following General Fund expenditure
account :

010-517-5517 .32-341 First Lady Outstanding Volunteer $930 . 00
The above-mentioned appropriation will increase the expenditure
account to $1, 730 . 00 for the 1992-93 fiscal year . $230 of the
appropriation is being used to satisfy an outstanding obligation
incurred in the 1991-92 fiscal year . The reason for the unpaid
obligation is that the State reimbursement was not received in time
to appropriate the funds before the close of the fiscal year.
By increasing the appropriation for 1992-93 , it is anticipated that
future reimbursements from the State would not need to be subject to
the Council ' s approval and as such all financial obligations would
be met in the appropriate fiscal year.

Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 635 and recommends that it pass first reading .
