Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution
No . 469-92, reports as follows :
The purpose of Resolution No . 469-92 is to authorize the
retention of special counsel for the Board of Ethics .
Comm. No . 3848, from Corporation Counsel Michael J. Matsukawa,
dated June 2, 1992, transmits a resolution authorizing the
retention of outside special counsel for Board of Ethics in
designated instances .
Your Committee requests Corporation Counsel suggest an amount
the Special Counsel will be compensated. This is requested
before the next Council meeting on July 1, 1992 .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Resolution
No . 469-92 and recommends its adoption upon receiving the
suggested amount for Special Counsel compensation.
