Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 621, reports
as follows :
The purpose of Bill 621 is to amend the Operating Budget for Fiscal
Year 1992-93 by increasing revenues to the following fund:
Account No . Source Amount
3501 . 07 Drug Enforcement $700 , 000 . 00
and appropriate to the following account :
010-201-5218 .41-115 Drug Enforcement
Misc Cont Sery $700, 000 . 00
Comm. No. 3732, from Finance Director William Takaba, dated May 15,
1992, transmits Bill 621 to amend Ordinance 91-50 increasing
revenues to the Police Department, Drug Enforcement account by
$700, 000, and appropriating same to the Drug Enforcement Misc.
Contract Services account due to the receipt of more asset
forfeiture funds than anticipated. Corresponding documentation is
transmitted for review.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 621 and recommends that it pass first reading .
