Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 617 , reports
as follows :
The purpose of Bill 617 is to amend Ordinance 91-50, the Operating
Budget for fiscal year 1991-92 , by appropriating revenue into the
following account:

and appropriated to the following accounts :

TOTAL $35,000 .00
Comm. No . 3678 , from Finance Director William Takaba, dated
April 30, 1992, transmits Bill 617 to amend Ordinance 91-50
appropriating $35 ,000 received from the Office of State Planning, to
the Planning Department for the South Kohala Carrying Capacity
program. Appropriate documentation is transmitted for review.
Planning Department explained that the purpose of this State-funded
study was to input the County ' s S. Kohala infrastructure carrying
capacity information into its GIS computer system. A consultant
would be hired to perform the study, and the consultant would also
teach County employees how to use the GIS system.
