Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution
No. 447-92 , reports as follows :
The purpose of Resolution No . 447-92 is to create two ( 2 ) Water
Safety Officer II ( 2/5T) , SR-17 positions and that funds are
available in the Regular Salaries and Wages account of the Aquatics
Division of the Department of Parks and Recreation . Both of these
positions are included in the proposed 1992-93 fiscal year budget .
Comm. No. 3676 , from Parks and Recreation Director Charmaine Kamaka,
dated April 27 , 1992, transmits Resolution 447 to create two Water
Safety Officers II ( 2/5T) positions in the Department of Parks and
Recreation to increase water safety coverage at both the Kahalu ' u
and White Sand Beach Parks . Appropriate justification and
documentation is transmitted for review.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Resolution
No. 447-92 and recommends its adoption .
