On May 6, 1992, the County Council amended Resolution 438 by
deleting the Mayor ' s Office request and referred Resolution 438,
Draft 2 , to the Finance Committee for further review.

Comm. 3720, from Finance Director William Takaba, dated May 8 , 1992 ,
transmits for information a comparison of computer requests
contained in Resolution 438, with computer requests included in the
Administration' s proposed FY 1992-93 budget . Also transmits a
Request to Budget forms for each computer request contained in the
resolution.
Comm. No . 3728, from FC Chair Helene H. Hale, dated May 19 , 1992,
transmits, for information, from Curtis Wolfe, Wolfe and Associates,
the comparison of computer requests included in Resolution No . 438
with the duplicated requests from the Clerical Center, Data
Processing and Prosecuting Attorney.
Your Committee amended Res . 438-92, Draft 2, by 1) deleting
Clerical Services computer request of $3 , 000 since this request was
duplicated in the FY 1992-93 Budget; 2) Civil Service computer
request was increased by $2, 000 so Civil Service can create a
computer network. Your Committee requested that more definitive
plans for computer use be presented to the Council .
Resolution No . 438-92, Draft 3 , was circulated and filed.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Resolution
No . 438-92, Draft 4 , and recommends its adoption.
