Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 608, reports
as follows :
The purpose of Bill 608 is to amend Ordinance 91-50, the Operating
Budget for Fiscal Year 1991-92, by appropriating revenues in the
following account to:
Account No . Source Amount
020-000-3301 . 74-000 FEMA Disaster Relief $27, 810 . 00
and appropriating to the following account :
020-301-5301 . 63-230 Puna Road - Highway
Materials $27, 810 . 00
Comm. No . 3573 , from Finance Director William Takaba, dated April 5,
1992, informs that the Department of Public Works anticipates
receiving $152, 810 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency for
emergency expenditures incurred during the period 12/1/90 - 5/31/91
(See Communication No . 3305) . Encloses Bill 608 amending
Ordinance 91-50 appropriating $27, 810 to the Puna Road - Highway
Materials Account in the Highway Fund. Also, encloses Bill 609 to
amend Ordinance 91-51 by adding the Pohoiki/Kapoho Beach Road
project for $125, 000, together with appropriate departmental
justification.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 608 and recommends that it pass first reading .
