Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 600, reports
as follows :
The purpose of Bill 600 is to amend Ordinance No . 91-51, as amended,
the Capital Budget, for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1992 by
adding the following projects :
Honokaa Park - Playground Equipment and Park
Improvements $10 , 000 . 00
Honokaa Rodeo Arena 5, 180 . 00
Pepeekeo Park - Playground Equipment 10, 000 . 00
Total $25, 180 . 00
Communication No . 3498, from Councilmember Takashi Domingo, dated
March 24 , 1992, submits Bill 600 to amend Ordinance No . 91-51, as
amended, by transferring, with the concurrence of the Parks and
Recreation Department, $25 , 180 surplus of the CIP funds allocated
for the Honokaa Park Drainage Improvement project
(100-599-5593 . 61-115) , for improvements and financing of the Honokaa
Park, Honokaa Rodeo Arena, and Pepeekeo Park.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 600 and recommends that it pass first reading .
