Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 594, reports
as follows :
The purpose of Bill 594 is to amend the Capital Budget,
Ordinance 91-51, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1992, by adding
the following project :
North Kohala Parks Improvements $50, 000 . 00
Comm. No . 3426 from Spencer K. Schutte, Chairman, Human Services and
Recreation Committee, submits Bill 594 to amend Ordinance No. 91-51,
by adding North Kohala Parks Improvements, $50, 000 , which shall be
provided from the General Fund from Mahukona, Kapaa and Keokeo Beach
Parks Improvements . States the intent of this bill is to include
the improvements of all the North Kohala Parks and not limited to
only beach parks in the North Kohala District .
Your Committee received Bill 594, Draft 2, which excludes $5, 000 . 00
for Kamehameha Park Improvements from the $50, 000 . 00 Public
Improvements and Financing appropriated for Mahukona, Kapaa and
Keokeo Beach Park. The remainder ($45, 000 . 00) will be allocated to
Mahukona, Kapaa and Keokeo Beach Park improvements .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 594 , Draft 2, and recommends that it pass first reading .
