Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution
No. --406-92, reports as follows :
The purpose of Resolution No . 406-92 is to amend Rule 7 of the Rules
of Procedure of the Council of the County of Hawaii relating to
subcommittees .
Resolution 406-92, introduced by Councilman Brian De Lima, amends
Rule/7 as follows :
(The chairperson of the committee may appoint members to a
subcommitee of a standing committee. ) A standing committee may by
adoption of a motion establish a subcommittee, the chairperson of
the standing committee shall remain as chairperson of the
subcommittee unless otherwise specified by a majority of the members
of the standing committee. The members of any subcommittee shall be
members of the standing committee and shall consist of not less than
three (3) members . All subcommittees shall report its findings to
the standing committees .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Resolution
No . 406-92 and recommends its adoption.
