Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution
No. 389-92, reports as follows :
The purpose of Resolution No. 389-92 is to transfer/appropriate the
following amount to the following General Fund account :

010-911-5911. 13-341 Contingency Account $50, 000 . 00
appropriating same to the following account :
010-271-5271 . 09-450 Prosecuting Attorney $50, 000 . 00
Office Equipment
Communication No. 3092, from Finance Director William Takaba, dated
November 12, 1991, transmits a resolution to transfer funds from the
Contingency Account to the Office Equipment Account of the Office of
the Prosecuting Attorney to allow them to replace their telephone
system, which was originally scheduled for last fiscal year.
Transmits justification for review.
Communication No. 3265 from Finance Director William Takaba, dated
January 23, 1992, informs that it is unlikely that the County will
be able to obtain a comprehensive study of telephone systems for the
Office of Prosecuting Attorney and the County Building with funds
currently available and that it would be more advantageous to use
the consultant to develop the bid specifications and evaluation
criteria instead.
Requests passage of Resolutions 389 and 390 so they can proceed with
their telephone system purchases for the Office of the Prosecuting
Attorney and the County Building .
