Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 556, reports as
follows :
The purpose of Bill 556 is to amend Ordinance 91-50, the Operating
Budget for Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1992, by appropriating revenue
in General Fund account :

3301. 73 FEDERAL GRANT-INTOXILYZERS $55, 000 . 00
and appropriating same to the following account :
010-201-5219 . 08-115 INTOXILYZERS 1991-92 $55, 000 . 00
Comm. No . 3239 , from Director of Finance William Takaba, dated
January 15, 1992, transmits Bill 556 and departmental information and
justification.
The Motor Vehicle Safety Office provided a Grant to purchase five (5)
intoxilyzers since the present intoxilyzers are aging and the cost
for maintenance is increasing .
The Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose of
Bill 556 and recommends that it pass first reading .
