Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 542, reports
as follows :
The purpose of Bill 542 is to amend Ordinance No. 91-50, the
Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 1991-92, by increasing revenues in
the following General Fund account:

Comm. 3169 from Finance Director William Takaba, dated November 29 ,
1991, transmits Bill 542 and departmental information and
justification.
Comm. 3169 states the the increase in revenues is a monetary
doanation from Mr . George Molholm of Western Sports Tournament,
Inc. which is from the proceeds of the annual keiki fishing
tournament in Kona .
Pursuant to Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donation.

Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 542 and recommends that it pass first reading and that a
letter of appreciation be forwarded to Mr. George Moihom.
