Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication
No . 3114 , reports as follows :
Communication No. 3114, dated November 14 , 1991, from P&R Director
Charmaine L. Kamaka, requests acceptance of donation of 120 boxes
12 Ga. shot gun shells to be used by participants of safety programs
being initiated by her department at the Hilo Skeet Range, which
were donated by Ben Franklin Stores, Kaiko ' o Mall .
Pursuant to Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donation.
Your Committee on Finance recommends acceptance of the donation of
120 boxes 12 Ga . shot gun shells and that a letter of appreciation
be forwarded to Ben Franklin Stores, c/o Mr . Joel Hisanaga, Manager,
Ben Franklin Store, Kaiko 'o Mall, Hilo, Hawaii 96720 .
