Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 478, reports
as follows :
Bill 478 proposes to amend Ordinance 91-50, the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1991-92, by increasing revenues in General Fund Account
No . 3304 . 63 , State Grants-Paauilo/Kamana Wheelchair Ramps, by
$20, 000 . 00, and appropriating same to the following account:

010-503-5503 .35-115 Paauilo/Kamana Wheelchair Ramps $20, 000 . 00
The subject account group is new with expenditures executed as
miscellaneous services contract .
Communication No . 2783 , dated August 20, 1991, from the Finance
Director, transmits said Bill No . 478, along with the Departmental
Request for Council Action, Grantee' s Work Program and Approved
Costs and Facility Renovation Contract from State Executive Office
on Aging.
Your Committee was informed the financing was approved by Act 323-90
and the costs for planning, design and construction for wheelchair
ramps at the Paauilo Gym/Community Center and Kamana Senior Center
would be $15, 000 and $5, 000 respectively.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 478 and recommends that it pass first reading .
