Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 475, reports
as follows :
Bill 475 proposes to amend Ordinance 91-51, the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1991-92, by increasing revenues in General Fund Account
No . 3304 . 31, State Grants - Narcotics Task Force, by $108, 000 . 00,
and appropriating same to the following accounts :

Communication No. 2780 from the Finance Director dated August 20,
1991, transmits said Bill No. 475, Departmental Request for Council
Action, Transmittal Letter for Contract from State Attorney General
and Budget Details .
Your Committee was informed therein that the total grant is for
$158, 000 . $50, 000 has already been appropriated during FY 91-92
budget proceedings . The total amount is now available to the Police
Department by application to the State Department of the Attorney
General .
