Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication
No. 2678, reports as follows :
Communication No. 2678, dated June 18, 1991, from the Director of
Parks and Recreation, requests the Council accept the donation of a
Leroy Lettering Equipment set with accessories, valued at
approximately $400, to the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)
which was donated by Mr . James M. Walling of Pahoa.
Pursuant to Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donation.
Your Committee on Finance recommends acceptance of the donation and
that a letter of appreciation be forwarded to James M. Walling,
P. O. Box 636, Pahoa, Hawaii 96778 .
