Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication
/No . 2360, reports as follows :
In a letter dated March 4, 1991, the Mayor requests Council ' s
approval to receive baseball equipment donated by Mr . Calvin Lumwon
of Kailua-Kona .
Your Committee was informed that the baseball equipment will be used
for the Police HI-PAL Program.
Pursuant to Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donation.
Your Committee on Finance recommends acceptance of the donation and
that a letter of appreciation be forwarded to Mr . Calvin Lumwon of
Kailua-Kona.
