Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution
No. 300-91, reports as follows :
The purpose of Resolution No . 300-91 is to transfer and appropriate
$23 , 379 .34 as follows :

010-911-5912 . 71-115 Charter Commission
Credited To :
010-911-5912 . 90-115 Reapportionment Commission
Your Committee was informed by Finance Director that as the mission
of the Charter Commission has fait accompli, the remaining fund
balance could be transferred to the newly designated Reapportionment
Commission account which is in need of the proposed appropriation.
Your Committee was also informed that the cost for printing the
Charter would be funded by the Clerk' s Office.
Pursuant to Section 10-9 of the Hawaii County Charter, the Council,
by resolution, may transfer part or all of any unencumbered
appropriation balance from one agency to another .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Resolution No . 300-91I and recommends its adoption.
