Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 399 , reports
as follows :
Bill 399 proposes to amend Ordinance 90-74, the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1990-91, by increasing revenues in General Fund Account
No. 3304 . 55, State Grants - Big Island Product Brochure, by
$4, 000 . 00, and appropriating same to the following account:

010-161-5161. 22-341 Agriculture R&D-Misc. Charges $4, 000 . 00
Your Committee was informed that a brochure on Hawaii Island
Agriculture was recently produced by the Department of Research and
Development in cooperation with the Hawaii Visitors Bureau, the
State Department of Agriculture, and the Hawaii Island Board of
Economic Development . The subject State Grant of $4 ,000 . 00
represents the State' s share of the cost.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 399 and recommends that it pass first reading.
