your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication
No . 2299 , reports as follows :
The purpose of Communication No. 2299 is to request the County
Council ' s approval of a donation of used Wang computer equipment and
supplies from David Lindamood, Sales Manager, Computerworks Hawaii .
Upon Council approval, the donated equipment will be assigned as
follows :
Parks and Recreation - Printer
Sheet Feeder
Data Processing - OIS/115 CPU
(Training and Support) (2) Workstations
Pursuant to Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donations .
Your Committee on Finance recommends acceptance of the donation and
that a letter of appreciation be forwarded to the donor .
