Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication
No. 2284 , reports as follows :
The purpose of Communication No. 2284 is to recommend the appointment
of the following:
Liquor Commission
Mrs . Carol Silva, a democrat from North Kohala, to
fill the vacancy of Ms . Luana A. Lincoln, for a
term ending December 31, 1995 . Mrs . Silva is vice
president and secretary of Silva' s Radio and
Appliances .
Pursuant to Section 7-3 .2 of the Hawaii County
Charter, the Mayor shall appoint members to the
Commission to be confirmed by the Council, as
prescribed in Section 13-4 of the Hawaii County
Charter .
Your Committee on Finance recommends approval of the appointment of
Mrs . Carol Silva to the Liquor Commission.
