Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication
No. 2284 , reports as follows :
The purpose of Communication No. 2284 is to recommend the appointment
of the following:
Fire Board of Appeals
Mr . Delbert Ching, an independent from Hilo, to
fill the vacancy of Mr . Teruichi Kohashi, for a
term ending December 31, 1995 . Mr. Ching is a
retired fireman.
Pursuant to Section 26-3 of the Hawaii County
Code, the Mayor shall appoint members to the
Commission to be confirmed by the Council, as
prescribed in Section 13-4 of the Hawaii County
Charter.
Your Committee on Finance recommends approval of the appointment of
Mr . Delbert Ching to the Fire Board of Appeals .
