Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication
No . 2284 , reports as follows :
The purpose of Communication No . 2284 is to recommend the appointment
of the following :
Board of Ethics
Mrs . Myra Sumida, a democrat from Ka 'u, to fill
the vacancy of Ms . Gail S. Takeya, for a term
ending December 31, 1995 . Mrs . Sumida is a
supervisor of the Bank of Hawaii , Ka 'u Branch.
Pursuant to Section 14-5 of the Hawaii County
Charter, the Mayor shall appoint members to the
Commission to be confirmed by the Council .
Your Committee on Finance recommends approval of the appointment of
Mrs . Myra Sumida to the Board of Ethics .
