Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 387, reports
as follows :
Bill 387 proposes to amend Ordinance 90-74 , as amended, the
Operating Budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1991, by
increasing revenues in the Contribution From Private Sources
Account 3607 . 00 in the General Fund by $50 and appropriating same to
the Police Adm - OCE - Educ-Recr-Scien Supplies Account
010-201-5203 . 02-225 .
This $50 is a donation by Mrs . Elizabeth Van Steenkist of
10171 Pineaire Drive, Sun City, Arizona 85351 to the Hawaii County
Police Department ' s D.A.R.E. program.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent and purpose of
Bill 387 and recommends that it pass first reading.
